Who we are
Davis Design Group LLC (“DDG,” “we”) provides industrial laser scanning, 3D modeling, and CAD drawing services from 25300 E. 327th St., Harrisonville, MO 64701. This notice covers this website, the quote request form, and email or phone contact with us.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us:
- Contact details such as your name, company, role, email address, and phone number.
- Project details such as facility type and location, approximate area, the services and formats you are interested in, timing, access notes, and how you heard about us.
- Anything else you send by email or share by phone, such as drawings, photos, or plant information.
Like most websites, our web host and form provider may also record standard technical details, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages, keep the site secure, and filter spam.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare budgetary estimates and proposals, and, if you hire us, to schedule and carry out the work and invoice for it.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share project information only with people or services needed to do work you have asked for, or when the law requires it.
Form submissions
Quote form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms, a service of Netlify, Inc., which delivers them to us. The provider handles that data under its own privacy policy. Read the Netlify privacy policy.
If you email or call us instead, your message and contact details stay in our email and phone records and are used the same way.
The site assistant
The chat assistant answers from this site’s published rates, specifications, and example scopes, and works out budgetary estimates using the same calculation as the estimator on the pricing page. It is software, not Jason Davis, and its answers are budgetary: a written proposal sets the final scope and price.
What you type is sent to Anthropic, which provides the language model that writes the replies, and is processed only to produce your answer. We do not use it for advertising or sell it to anyone. The conversation is kept in your own browser for the current visit and is cleared when you close the tab; we do not build a profile of you from it.
The assistant does not ask for your name, company, email, or phone number, and you should not send confidential drawings, specifications, or plant data through it. The quote form or a call to 816-775-9831 is the right place for anything sensitive.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not load third-party tracking scripts. Its fonts and scripts are served from this site, not from outside networks.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries, proposals, and project records for as long as they are useful for the work and for our business records. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Copies, corrections, and deletion
To ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, a correction, or deletion, email JasonDavisDesign@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We will delete your information from our records and from the form provider’s storage, except for anything we must keep for an active contract, invoicing, or legal reasons, and we will confirm when it is done.
Changes to this notice
